Yesterday, I celebrated the Mass in honor of our Patron Saint in my private chapel in the rectory. I prayed for you all that you may be safe, healthy, and well. Although we did not get a chance to be together to celebrate the Mass as a community on the feast of St. Joseph, we will continue to pray for one other. Rest assured of my daily prayers for you, as I say the Mass privately. Please pray the rosary in your homes and ask the Blessed Mother to intercede for us. We created a link below so that you could hear the daily Mass that is broadcasted through Word on Fire. You can also go to EWTN and hear the Mass in that TV channel. When the priest reaches the Communion Rite you can say the Act of Spiritual Communion in silence.
"My Jesus,
I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen."
With all these challenges that we are facing right now, we can overcome this Coronavirus outbreak, COVID 19, through our prayers. Let us bombard the Lord with our prayers and ask him to heal the world. I know that our Good and Gracious Lord will not abandon us. Please continue to pray the prayer (Coronavirus Prayer) that I posted in our bulletin last Sunday.
We are all instructed by our Governor to stay in our homes for now to avoid the spread of this virus. This is unusual for all of us because it disrupts our social activities. Please take this moment as an opportunity to be with your families, and spend some quality time together. Please spend some quite moments to pray, eat together, share stories, and watch your favorite movie. Due to the cornonavirus, our church is open for daily visit Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on Sundays
