Special Announcement-8-21-20

Dear St. Joseph Parishioners,

Today, August 21, "Due to the dangerous air quality and the continuing efforts to curb the spread of the COVID-19 infection, everyone should remain home as much as possible this weekend."

Bishop Jaime Soto advised all Pastors and Parochial Administrators who are celebrating outdoor masses to suspend the masses this weekend (August 22-23). Our 7:00 a.m.  and 9:00 a.m. outdoor masses are suspended. 

We are going to live stream the mass this weekend through our Facebook page, and website front page at sjauburncatholic.com at 9:00 a.m (Bilingual mass).

Due to the smoke and fall of ashes in our area, we will cancel the outdoor Saturday morning mass (August 22).  I will continue to hear confession tomorrow inside the office hallway from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Please wait inside the church for your turn. After your confession, please go back to the church and inform the next person. 

Please include in your prayers those who are affected by the wildfires in our diocese and for an end to the pandemic.
