It is now our second week without a public mass. I missed seeing you all at church. I decided to live stream our 5th Sunday of Lent Mass this weekend. It is a Bilingual mass at 10:00 am. It is my deepest desire and prayer for us to come together as one community of St. Joseph Parish. Please visit our Facebook page, St. Joseph Catholic Church Auburn & Mission in Foresthill. I would like to invite you all to join this page so that you will be able to participate and view the Mass.
We are almost a week away to celebrating Holy Week and Easter. Bishop Jaime Soto has extended his suspension of the Eucharist, and it will go through Holy Week and Easter, click here and read his message. Please continue to pray the rosary in your homes. Let us be fervent with our prayers and continue to ask the Lord to heal the world. Some of you are looking for something to do to increase your knowledge about our faith. I created a link for us to learn more about the Eucharist. It is a free class offered by Dr. Scott Hahn.
The office is closed, but whatever questions that you may have, please do not hesitate to call the office. Our staff will be ready to answer your call, Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. If you like to go to Confession, please call the office and set up an appointment. The church is open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Sunday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The church will be closed this Sunday, March 29 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am due to the live streaming of the Mass.
